Michael T. Spadafora, DMD
Michael T. Spadafora, DMD, joined Bucks County Dental Design in the summer of 2014 as a part-time associate. A graduate of Archbishop Wood High School and Gettysburg College, he earned his doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 2012. In January 2020, Dr. Michael T. became a full partner alongside his father, continuing the family legacy of care in Richboro.
Advanced Training & Clinical Passion
Dr. Michael T. found great fulfillment in practicing dentistry with his father, and mentor, for over 12 years. Guided by a core belief in lifelong professional learning, he remains dedicated to honing his skills through some of the most rigorous programs in the country.
Recent continuing education highlights include his completion of the surgical program at the renowned Misch Implant Institute, the national leader in dental implant training. He is also actively involved with the Frank Spear Education program in Arizona, a premier institute dedicated to clinical excellence. Dr. Michael T. pursues this high standard of care through regular sessions at their headquarters and monthly participation in a local Spear study club.
Life Outside the Office
When he isn’t in the office or advancing his clinical expertise, Dr. Michael T. spends his time with his family at their home in Holland, PA. He and his wife, Krista, stay busy keeping up with their three young children and rescue dog.
Michael A. Spadafora, DDS
As of January 1, 2026, Dr. Mike Spadafora Sr. has officially retired from full-time dentistry. He is now our resident dentist “emeritus”. While he has stepped back from day-to-day dentistry, you may still see him popping into the office, checking a few hygiene patients here and there, or filling in for Michael T. as the need arises.

Michael A. Spadafora, DDS, began his private practice in Richboro, Bucks County, in 1984, serving the families of Northampton Township and the greater Philadelphia area. As a general dentist, he has provided comprehensive restorative and cosmetic care for over four decades to patients of all ages.
Education & Clinical Excellence
Dr. Michael A. is a graduate of The Ohio State University School of Dentistry and earned his undergraduate and master’s degrees in Clinical Chemistry from the University of Dayton.
A graduate of the prestigious LD Pankey Institute, Dr. Michael A. maintained an intense commitment to continuing education throughout his career. He spent many hours each year honing his skills and staying abreast of the most current developments in the field of dentistry to ensure his patients received the highest level of care.
Life Outside the Office
Dr. Michael A. and his wife, Susan, reside in Ivyland, Bucks County, and are the parents of three grown children and eight absolutely perfect grandchildren. Now that he is no longer in the office full-time, you will likely find Dr. Michael A. on the golf course or—more likely—playing with his grandkids.
